Romanian Red is a classic Porcelain‐type hardneck garlic prized for its large, easy‐to‐peel cloves and pure white skins brushed with subtle purple streaks. Its flavor is robust and full‐bodied—mild when cooked but with a gentle sharpness when used raw. Bulbs typically have 4–6 plump cloves and store exceptionally well (up to 8–9 months) in cool, dry conditions.
